WWE: Here’s a full list of the surprise Women’s Royal Rumble entrants
WWE Royal Rumble 2020 got off to a great start after an exciting Women’s Rumble match which featured a ton of surprise returns, legends, and NXT superstars.
Charlotte Flair was the big winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble match, eliminating Shayna Baszler in the final two to punch her ticket to WWE WrestleMania 36, with the current Raw Women’s Champion being familiar foe Becky Lynch.
But the real winners were, as cliche as it is, us as fans. The Women’s Rumble was a fantastic second match on the Pay Per View card, as it featured so many wonderful returns and surprises for us to enjoy.
Here’s the full list:
Bianca Belair
She entered second to start the match with Alexa Bliss and was the first woman to break the elimination record with eight eliminations. This was a star-making performance from a wrestler with a world of potential.
Molly Holly
She returned with her “Mighty” gimmick and was awesome. Molly Holly put over Bianca by being eliminated by her.
Mercedes Martinez
It was AWESOME to see this absolute legend in the Royal Rumble. She didn’t eliminate anyone and was taken out by Fire and Desire.
Candice LeRae
Hit her Lionsault and put in a great performance before being eliminated by the EST.
Kairi Sane
Not really a surprise, per se, but it was great to see her healthy and in another Rumble.
Mia Yim
A future star. She had a good match with Kay Lee Ray at Worlds Collide, too.
Tamina
It was great to see the former 24/7 champion back and healthy.
Dakota Kai
I half-expected her to try and eliminate Tegan Nox after being eliminated. They will face off on NXT this Wednesday and had a brawl at Worlds Collide from the crowd.
Chelsea Green
She eliminated Dakota Kai in what was a surprise.
Naomi
Awesome performance. She had an epic save and set the crowd on fire. Icon.
Beth Phoenix
Absolutely impeccable performance. Like Naomi, one of the best parts of the match. When she, Bianca, Naomi, and Charlotte Flair were in the match at the same time, I went crazy.
Toni Storm
Another standout display from Toni Storm, who is one of the best babyfaces in wrestling.
Kelly Kelly
Massive pop. Always a joy to watch her.
Xia Li
Future star, no question. Great to see her in her second straight Rumble.
Shotzi Blackheart
She has consistently looked like one of the best wrestlers in NXT since signing. I wouldn’t be surprised if she skyrockets in 2020.
Tegan Nox
Everything about this Nox vs. Kai feud screams “awesome”, by the way.
Shayna Baszler
Entered at No. 30, cleaned house by eliminate eight women, and looked on track for an expected win. But Charlotte Flair had other plans!
