The latest WWE rumors have suggested that Killer Kross is not only on his way to signing, but he is expected to receive an immediate push, whether he goes to Raw, SmackDown, or NXT.

For what feels like months now, we have heard WWE rumors upon WWE rumors of former IMPACT Wrestling star, Killer Kross, being inches away from signing his pen on the dotted line of a contract for the company.

In the past, we have also heard rumors that if he is signed, he could skip developmental training altogether in favor of being featured on television. More recently, he has been said to have met with Triple H for further contract negotiations.

This new set of WWE rumors started by Wrestling Observer Radio (per WrestlingInc) expounds further on that last assessment, suggesting that Kross would be set up to receive a huge push upon being signed. Not only will be allowed to skip the usual developmental routine that incoming new WWE Superstars receive upon signing, but regardless of whether he makes it to television for NXT, Raw, or SmackDown, he will be pushed immediately as a top star.

For those who have not seen Kross’ work previously or simply is not familiar with the man at all, he is best known for his work in IMPACT, but has also made appearances in places like AAA, Lucha Underground, AAW, DEFY, and Bar Wrestling.

In many regards, Killer Kross is considered to be the hottest free agent in wrestling at the moment and so it is not too hard to imagine him skipping the developmental route. The best known example of a new WWE Superstar doing just that is AJ Styles, skipping developmental training and NXT after signing with WWE as wrestling’s hottest free agent in 2016.
