Sammy Guevara

What better way to establish Lee as AEW’s resident monstrous big man who answers to no one than by putting him in the ring with a very talented, small, loudmouth heel?

While AEW has tried to set themselves apart from the booking decisions and tendencies of their Stamford, Connecticut counterpart, they may need to take a page from the McMahon big handbook of monsters for this one.

Imagine this: The Inner Circle has dispatched each opponent with ease and has begun to call for an open challenge week in and week out as a way of demoralizing the full-time roster of AEW.

Guevara comes to the ring and is just running his mouth about how good The Spanish God truly is. That he can beat anyone, anytime, anywhere without breaking a sweat. Then you hear it … the opening notes of Johnny Cash’s “Gods Gonna Cut You Down,” (We can discuss what an incredible theme that is later) and in comes Brodie Lee who just destroys Sammy with ease. No promotion, no spoilers. Goosebumps.

You can even go further by having the rest of The Inner Circle rush down the ramp to face the hulking behemoth to be later dispatched from the ring one after another until just Jericho and Lee remain, setting Lee up for an eventual challenge at the AEW World Title.
