WWE: 5 dream matches for Kelly Kelly’s potential return

Naomi

Naomi is an easy pick to go up against Kelly Kelly. After all, Kelly was Naomi’s mentor during NXT season 3 in 2010. The two were never afforded the opportunity to go one-on-one as they only competed alongside each other in a handful of tag team matches.

Kelly Kelly vs. Naomi would be great for both of their athletic styles. I can already imagine them trading big, flashy moves while trying to one-up the other. Ideally, their first clash would happen later this year after Naomi captures her third SmackDown Women’s Championship. (Oh, yes. I’m speaking it into existence.)

Kelly has had plenty of history on the blue brand, but she’s never held, let alone challenged for, the SmackDown Women’s Title. Once Naomi has unseated either Bayley or Sasha Banks as champion, I better hear “Holla” accompanied by a huge pop as Kelly Kelly makes her way out to show Naomi she wants a taste of the glow.

Alexa Bliss

Much like Charlotte, I would love Kelly Kelly’s encounter with Alexa Bliss to come in the form of a fun babyface-heel dynamic. As much as I’ve enjoyed Bliss’ partnership with Nikki Cross, I’m ready for the Goddess to go back to her twisted ways.

Once Bliss is reestablished as a top heel, perhaps even as a titleholder, Kelly can step up to her as she pursues the gold once more. Bliss and Kelly’s matches would be full of scrappiness and, dare I say, might even resemble a decent-quality Divas match.

Can you imagine if Kelly found a way to beat Little Miss Bliss for a championship? She would go insane, thus leading to fun promos and brawls as Kelly Kelly waves the title in her face.
