Dustin Beats Hager

Similar to what we saw with both Jeff Cobb and Wardlow, another one of AEW’s big boys will lose in their All Elite debut. As with the aforementioned Cobb and Wardlow, Jake Hager’s loss will make perfect sense.

While Hager has been used primarily as muscle for Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle – and some comedic relief i.e. Chris Jerigoat – his most memorable move since appearing on the very first episode of ‘Dynamite’ was breaking Dustin Rhodes‘ arm by crushing it between a limousine door.

Since then, Rhodes has had a few tussles with the Inner Circle, hinting at an eventual face off with Hager at ‘Revolution’.

That being said, seeing ‘The Natural’ lose would mean letting go of a pretty substantial payoff AEW have slowly been working towards since the month of October. He won’t win convincingly but–as he did with his brother Cody in May of 2019–he’ll have one hell of a match en route to a well-deserved victory at ‘Revolution’.

The Exalted One Targets Darby

One of All Elite Wrestling’s brightest stars, fan favorite Darby Allin will be meeting yet another member of AEW’s crop of talented young performers; the Spanish God Sammy Guevara.

After his run in with the Inner Circle which saw them almost annihilate his larynx with his own skateboard, Allin will be looking for redemption in his match with Guevara which could potentially steal the show at ‘Revolution’.

There’s no question Allin will pick up the win here. It’s what will happen after the bell rings that might be the boldest prediction on this list. Better yet, it’s a two-for-one prediction as well. On one side, the Dark Order’s ‘Exalted One’ will finally be unveiled–I’m expecting either Christopher Daniels or Raven. Yes, two obvious choices. I’m a conservative lad, okay?

Following his unveiling on the giant screen–after the incredibly overused lights off transition–the Exalted One will try coaxing Darby into joining his Dark Order. Waxing poetic about ‘seeing a darkness in him that cannot be contained’ in a Palpatine-esque monologue.

This will lead to the Dark Order’s courtship of Darby Allin, which he will undoubtedly reject and will bring us to a high stakes match at ‘Double or Nothing’ where Allin would have no choice to join the Dark Order if he loses.
