5. Effy

Effy? Who the [expletive] is that? Effy is indie wrestling today.

If Matt Hardy decides to hit the indie scene for a while, one of his first matches should be against Effy. Effy defines indie wrestling in 2020. He wrestles how he wants, who he wants and says what he wants. “The Weapon of Sass Destruction” wants to stay independent and bring wrestling to the masses of people that don’t currently watch wrestling.

Effy can hold his own on the microphone too. He is one of the best promos in the business. Like Hardy, Effy also had a YouTube series called Effy and the Agent, which co-stars his dog, Cranberry.

Effy is also holding his first show in Tampa during WrestleMania weekend. “Effy’s Big Gay Brunch” will feature the likes of Sonny Kiss, Ariane Andrew (WWE’s Cameron), Ricky Stark, Allie Kat and more. He’ll also be performing at several shows that week.

Broken Matt would be one of Effy’s biggest challenges yet. On the other hand, Effy is a force all on his own and won’t be easily deleted. Don’t let the fishnets and spiky leather jacket fool you. Effy knows how to fight and is Daddy for a reason.
