1. Orange Cassidy

More from Daily DDT

Orange Cassidy is a dream opponent for so many people. We finally got Cassidy vs. PAC at Revolution. Prior to becoming AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley was another dream opponent for Cassidy.

Broken Matt vs. Orange Cassidy is a dream match for so many wrestling fans. Just the thought of them staring each other down is enough to drive fans wild. The anticipation of those two finally facing off would be off the charts.

“Freshly Squeezed” is a man of few words, but his facial reactions to a “Broken Matt” promo would be phenomenal. Cassidy could dial up his own eccentric shenanigans to meet the Broken brilliance of his opponent. Perhaps he’ll let Hardy borrow a pair of sunglasses. Does Broken Matt even have pockets? Maybe we can get a literal game of chess between these two.

Cassidy’s speed in the ring may also be a plus for Hardy. He isn’t a high flyer and isn’t speedy. Hardy isn’t as agile as he used to be. This isn’t a knock on either wrestler. Cassidy isn’t all comedy, all the time and neither is Hardy. Their styles will compliment each other well.
