WWE: What’s Next for The Undertaker?
By Mark Justice
3.) Aleister Black
At WWE Elimination Chamber 2020, The Undertaker helped Aleister Black defeat AJ Styles by fending off the O.C., who was interfering with the match from ringside. Did Undertaker really care about helping Aleister Black or was he just trying to screw his rival, AJ Styles, at the time?
It is more likely the latter but his involvement in Aleister Black’s match must be a sign of things to come because everything that Undertaker does means something, no matter how egregious long-term booking can be in professional wrestling.
A dream match with Aleister Black would help Black continue his momentum as an unstoppable force on Raw and Taker would be doing his job as a veteran megastar in propelling Black to main event greatness. Besides, their dark, mystic powers colliding in one ring is good business.
2.) Sting
WWE vs. WCW all over again, eh? This match has been in high demand for quite some time, and it is bewildering as to why WWE has not pulled the trigger on it yet. Nonetheless, it would be a good career-ending dream match for The Undertaker as well as for Sting.
Sting did not necessarily get the ideal return to the WWE that he was hoping for. Not only did he not get a dream match against The Undertaker but he also retired after losing to Triple H at WrestleMania 31 and getting injured by Seth Rollins in a WWE Championship match.
If Sting is capable of getting back in the ring for one more match, his opponent needs to be The Undertaker. There are rumors and reports that he would come out of retirement to make that match happen, so the bells must toll for this epic showdown.
