5.) Bliss Cross Applesauce

Although Bliss Cross Applesauce lost their Women’s Tag Team Championships to BayBanks this month, they defended those championships quite consistently and elevated the prestige of those championships in the process. Now that they are out of the tag team championship picture, it would be befitting if they broke up and had a feud of their own. For now, it seems that they are sticking together as Nikki Cross earned a title opportunity against Bayley at WWE Extreme Rules.

4.) Mandy Rose

Mandy Rose has been laser-focused on her rivalry with Sonya Deville while relishing her new romance with Otis. Although her momentum in the ring has been lackluster, her storyline involvement has made her an integral part of the SmackDown Women’s Division. Thanks to 50:50 booking, she might soon get her babyface comeuppance on Deville, which would set her up for a SmackDown Women’s Championship opportunity in the near future.

3.) Sonya Deville

Sonya Deville has been pipebombing left and right on why she is better than Mandy Rose in every facet of life even though the system is holding her back due to difference in external appearances. Her momentum and storyline involvement has made her an integral part of the SmackDown Women’s Division. She should be granted a SmackDown Women’s Championship opportunity in the near future because her promo work and in-ring work this month have been superb.

2.) Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks is truly the Blue Print and face of the SmackDown Women’s Division. Her drawing power, in-ring skills, and promo skills have been exceptional. There was concern that she was losing too much after her return from her hiatus, but she is finally beginning to retrieve her momentum. This momentum not only resulted in a Women’s Tag Team Championship victory with Bayley but also a Raw Women’s Championship opportunity against Asuka at WWE Extreme Rules.

1.) Bayley Dos Straps

Ding Dong! As great as Sasha Banks’ impact and relevance have been this month, Bayley surpassed Banks due to her equivalent impact and relevance but superior accomplishment. While Banks has only the Women’s Tag Team Championships, Bayley has that championship and the SmackDown Women’s Championship (hence the name ‘Bayley Dos Straps’). She has been fulfilling her promise of elevating the SmackDown Women’s Division while doing the same for the Women’s Tag Team Division. There’s not much more one could ask for from Bayley.
