This Sunday the best wrestlers on Raw will face their counterparts from SmackDown in a bid to gain brand supremacy for the show they represent at WWE Survivor Series.

Other than the two world titles, no other belts in the WWE as prestigious as the United States and Intercontinental Championships – Bobby Lashley and Sami Zayn meet this Sunday to decide who the better man is.

These two have a history together – they had one of the worst feuds of 2018, both superstars have done a better job of hyping the match this time around. Hopefully, they have a great contest in 2020, so the WWE Universe can erase everything that happened two years ago from their minds forever!

Rather than invasions that usually hype WWE Survivor Series – these two have traded insults on Raw and SmackDown while sending shots at each other on social media. Despite the lack of physicality between the two – the interest is there, if they are given time, a match of the night contender could be in-store.

Zayn is adamant his title is more important, as it represents several continents and Lashley’s only covers America – he promised to “school” The Hurt Business member this Sunday.

“The All Mighty” has held the United States Championship since August – he has won 11 out of 13 matches since then, he is living up to the “Dominator” nickname. Convincing wins over The Viking Raiders, Slapjack, Apollo Crews, Ricochet, R-Truth, and Titus O’Neil have shown Lashley is back on track following an inconsistent 2019, he has been push like the bad*** he is – this is his best run since returning to WWE two years ago.

Lashley has been rebuilt to the level he should be at – losing here would set him back, he needs to win convincingly, his renaissance must continue.

The Hurt Business is one of the hottest acts in WWE at the moment – the group could lose steam if Lashley is defeated in such a high profile match. They need to be protected, Lashley must ensure business is booming with a win against the master of the Helluva Kick.

The fact Lashley has not won a world title in WWE is disappointing – he has all the tools to be champion. His current run should put him in contention for another crack at Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship, that is one of the reason’s why he has to be victorious at WWE Survivor Series.

The last time Lashley was pinned, in a one-on-one match, was against the Scottish Psychopath during their title match at WWE Backlash in June. McIntyre is short of challengers, Lashley should be in that conversation, they had one match during their summer feud – a trilogy could be on the horizon this time.

“The Great Liberator” will not be damaged by losing to Lashley – he is one of the highlights on SmackDown, the Intercontinental Champion will continue to shine on the blue brand.

This clash of secondary title holders is all about Lashley continuing his path of destruction – Zayn will be another victim on his way to another shot at the WWE Championship. WWE have finally figured out what to do with 44-year-old, a win here will reinforce that.
