Trish Stratus open to WWE match with Sasha Banks

Former WWE Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus, has confirmed that she is open to facing Sasha Banks in the ring.

It is considered a dream match by the WWE Universe, and one that Sasha Banks has said she would love to have one day.

Speaking with Vibe 105 Sports, the Canadian superstar discussed the possibility of the match happening “She is an amazing athlete. People sort of — they fantasize about that match because we had a little face-to-face at the women’s Royal Rumble.  And who knows? That is appealing to me. I think she is a fantastic athlete. She has brought so much to the company, and has elevated the women in the industry from what she’s done.”

She continued “I think fans would love to see that. I would love to whoop her butt and prove that I’m the best, and, you know, stuff like that. So yeah, let’s leave it with that little button and say, ‘Perhaps, one day if I decide to go back in the ring, I mean, I may have to deliver a little Stratisfaction to The Boss.” (h/t Wrestling Inc.)

It would definitely be a WrestleMania-worthy match, and one that, who knows, could well be featured over the two-night blockbuster event in 2022.

Trish Stratus vs. Sasha Banks in WWE?

There’s no doubt the WWE Universe would love to see this, and we definitely need to see this sooner rather than later. Banks has never hidden the fact that she would love to face Trish in the ring someday, and now Trish has confirmed she would be open to that possibility. WWE Hall of Famer vs. The Boss would steal any card that is booked on and deserves a big platform for it to happen if it came to fruition. There’s definitely plenty of hours of WrestleMania ahead in Dallas come April 2022, why not let the dream match become a reality.
