WWE Raw will be big-time this week because Becky Lynch is scheduled to return to Raw on the road to WrestleMania Backlash. It is expected that she will avenge her loss to Bianca Belair one way or the other. In this week’s episode, there are two scheduled segments: Randy Orton will celebrate his 20-year Anniversary in WWE and Bobby Lashley will partake in an arm-wrestling contest with Omos. There is also one scheduled match: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Sonya Deville for the Raw Women’s Championship in Belair’s hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee.

With that being addressed, it’s now time to preview and predict what will actually occur on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on April 25, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT live on the USA Network. Here are some predictions for this week’s show.

On this week’s WWE Raw, Bianca Belair will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Sonya Deville in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee. Sonya Deville ‘earned’ this title shot through her abuse of power as an Authority member. She demanded that Belair pay a fine for putting her hands on her last week, but Adam Pearce humorously allowed Belair to pay merely a one-dollar fine for the tort that was committed. After Belair inevitably retains the title against Deville, Becky Lynch will return to attack Belair and set up a title rematch for Backlash.

Bobby Lashley and Omos will partake in an arm-wrestling contest. It is expected that their feats of strength will be displayed before an epic brawl ensues. The security might have to break this one up so that they can save their big clash for Backlash. Lashley’s end goal is to get his hands on MVP for betraying him, but he will have to get through Omos to accomplish that objective. Lashley got the win at WrestleMania, so it would make sense for WWE to implement 50:50 booking and establish Omos’ nascent business partnership with MVP with an Omos victory at Backlash.

Randy Orton will celebrate his 20-year anniversary in WWE this week. It is foreseeable that Riddle will celebrate with him and Usos will interrupt to ruin the party, attract some heel heat, and continue their tag title build towards WrestleMania Backlash. Everyone loves some good party poopers on a Monday night. On a further note, it’s only a matter of time until Orton double-crosses Riddle because they are inevitably losing to Usos in the title for the title match at Backlash. Usos are a legitimate tag team that must solidify the momentum of the Bloodline by winning all the gold.

In terms of other red brand matches that could be added to WrestleMania Backlash, the new U.S. Champion Austin Theory could end up defending his title against Finn Balor since Balor is owed a rematch. Theory would retain since he just won the belt and Balor will move on to bigger and better things by tagging alongside his Bullet Club brethren, AJ Styles, to fend off Edge and Damian Priest. Another match that could be added is Ezekiel vs. Kevin Owens. Owens has been livid about Ezekiel’s lies so their bout should be a lock after Ezekiel takes down Alpha Academy.
