Recap of Rebellion
New champions:
Taya Valkyrie is the AAA Reina De Reinas champ
Ace Austin is the new X-Division Champ
Josh Alexander is the new Impact Champion

Violent By Design hits the ring to start off the episode. They kept their titles after the 8-team showdown. Eric Young says his team is the permanent tag team champions. There is no one that can take the titles from VBD. The world belongs to him.

The Briscoes come out! Mark and Jay receive a huge pop. Mark says he has unfinished business. Everywhere The Briscoes go they win the titles. Heath grabs the mic and belittles them. Rhino and Heath are next in line for the title. I smell a match tonight! Eric says that Heath/Rhino and The Briscoes should settle this right now and whoever is left standing will face off with them.

Rhino and Heath vs. The Briscoes

Heath and Mark get into a chop war. Both Briscoes start slamming into each other and diving off the ring like crazy men. Mark capitalizes with a corkscrew from the turnbuckle to the Rhino/Heath on the floor.

The Briscoes work over Heath with vertical suplexes and uppercuts. Heath and Rhino steal their momentum with a clothesline. Mark hits an overhead suplex for a 2-count. Mark gets Rhino in the corner and knocks him over. He hits a big elbow off the top for the three count.

Winner: The Briscoes via pinfall

Review: 3/5 Mark Briscoe was a bright spot in this match hitting the most impressive moves. Heath and Rhino were good fodder for the legends. The match was fast and frenetic. The Briscoes are proof that ROH is bringing its A-game to Impact. I know the Briscoes have some real-life heat around them over Twitter, but the match proved good for the tag team division. Hopefully, the Briscoes don’t get into any more trouble.

Backstage: Moose talks to Scott D’Amore. He says it is unfair that Josh gets 6 months to prepare for a rematch, but Moose gets 5 days. Scott says that whoever wins tonight’s rematch with Josh gets a handpicked opponent at Under Siege.

Promo: A video reel shows grindhouse photos of wrestlers and an x-ray. It is mysterious.

Winner: Bhupinder Gujjar via pinfall

Review: 3/5 VSK’s ferocity and heel techniques were fun to watch. Bhupinder has so much potential.

Shera and Raj come out and start talking smack to Gujjar. Gujjar gets right in Shera’s face. Shera hits a DVD on VSK to show his intimidation. Raj holds Shera back.

Review: 4/5 ROH alumni and the X-Division make the best matches on Impact and I wish someone would make that the brand.

The Bullet Club comes out to greet Honor No More. They get into fisticuffs. The Good Brothers hit a Magic Killer on Kenny King.

Backstage: Josh Alexander is congratulated for being the champion. The last six months were an emotional roller coaster for Josh. It is time to shut Moose up for good.

Taya Valkyrie comes out holding her new AAA title. Taya talks about her creativity being held captive (is that a dig at WWE?). She is proud to be back at Impact wrestling. The crowd chants “Bella Loca.”

Deonna Purrazzo ambushes her and they both tussle. Deonna is about to hit her arm breaker, but then Decay’s Rosemary and Havok come out. Deonna runs away.

Rosemary is about to talk to Taya when Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans come out for their match.

Rosemary and Havok vs. Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans

Both girls start clubbing each other with Decay getting the advantage. It turns into a street match. The ref still hasn’t rung the bell until they get back into the ring. Rosemary and Havok go crazy on Tasha. Rosemary hits a northern lights suplex on Tasha.

Winner: Rosemary and Havok via pinfall

Review: 2.75/5 The match was fun to watch, but not nearly as exciting as the matches that preceded it. Havok should not try karate kicks!

Winner: Josh Alexander via pinfall

Review: 3.75/5 Great heat between these two wrestlers. Josh is such a credible champion and I hope he carries the belt for a long time. Their rivalry reminds me of Booker T versus Big Papa Pump near the end of WCW.

Ishii Tomohiro, The Stone Pitbull, comes out and gets into Josh’s face.

Josh Alexander vs. Ishii Tomohiro at Under Siege.
