With WWE Extreme Rules on the horizon, there are several stories to watch across both the WWE and All Elite Wrestling this week. Here are three of the biggest that fans should keep their eyes on as the days pass.

The White Rabbit saga continues

WWE continues to push the White Rabbit mystery with clues each week. The September 23 edition of WWE SmackDown had clues that point toward the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw. There are growing reports that the potential reveal was scheduled for the Extreme Rules PPV. When the reveals come it will be a big moment for WWE, perhaps the biggest since Triple H has assumed the reigns of power. How will Daniel Cormier get involved?

Seth Rollins versus Matt Riddle was given a new wrinkle when news broke over the weekend that former two-division UFC champion, Daniel Cormier, is the special guest referee for their match in the Fight Pit. It’s well known that Cormier is a huge fan of professional wrestling, often joking that he wanted to make the jump to WWE much as Brock Lesnar did. While that never came to fruition, this is a pleasant surprise that makes the match even more interesting. With two go-home shows scheduled for this week, fans can expect to see Cormier appear and get involved with the two men in some fashion.
