WWE MITB 2023 is approximately one month away, and WWE has not yet built any blockbuster feuds for this “premium live event.” However, there are already some rumored matchups, like Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa vs. Usos. This event is also taking place in the UK, which means there will be strong support for UK WWE superstars, such as Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Finn Balor, and much more. Seth Rollins, in particular, will likely defend the World Title at this event.

The following will provide three top-tier title opponents for Seth Rollins, who recently won the belt by defeating AJ Styles in the finals of the world title tournament.

3.) Dominick Mysterio

Dominick Mysterio battled Seth Rollins before on a big stage. In fact, at WWE SummerSlam 2020, Dominick’s first match in the WWE was against Seth Rollins. He truly held his own in what was an exciting contest, but he was a babyface and Rollins was a heel during that time. Now that the roles are flipped and Dominick has some ultra-heel heat going for him lately, WWE can definitely revisit this rivalry for the world title at WWE MITB 2023. Since Rollins played mind games with Rhea Ripley on Raw, Dominick could seek his revenge on this PPV and dedicate the match to Ripley.

2.) Damian Priest

Damian Priest and Seth Rollins have never battled one on one in WWE history. Although Priest got pinned by Rollins in their main event tag match on Raw last week, he is being rumored for a big push after his impressive performance against Bad Bunny at BackLash in Puerto Rico. Priest could get a ton of exposure in an epic title match with Rollins. He has always been in the mid-card and tag divisions but never truly got a main-event feud that treated him as an important member of the Judgment Day. This feud could very well elevate Priest to the next level.

1.) Finn Balor

Finn Balor makes the most sense as Seth Rollins’ opponent at WWE MITB 2023 not only due to their immense history but also due to the fact that it’s in the UK. Finn Balor is from Ireland and this would be a great opportunity for him to tease becoming world champion when he has home-court advantage. He beat Rollins in their Universal Title feud at SummerSlam 2016 but lost to Rollins in their triple threat IC Title match with The Miz at WrestleMania 34. Since they’re 1-1 on PPV, this title match should settle the score and put an end to their long-winded track record for good.
