Three potential career-defining feuds for Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley is the focal point of WWE’s women’s division and these are three long-term that can help define her legacy.

Rhea Ripley is in an interesting place as WWE Women’s World Champion. While fans want to see more of her in the ring and in main feuds on Monday Night Raw, she’s killing it as a guiding force for the women’s division in NXT. Ripley’s truly the future of women’s wrestling and a big part of wrestling’s future overall as such a young talent. It will be interesting to see which feuds stand out as a definitive part of her legacy. John Cena had Randy Orton. Roman Reigns had Brock Lesnar. Rey Mysterio had Eddie Guerrero. Trish Stratus had Lita. These three individuals stand out as potential career-defining feuds for Rhea Ripley as her legacy continues to grow.

Bianca Belair

Rhea Ripley versus Bianca Belair will headline WrestleMania. It must, or it will be yet another entry in the dropped balls that litter WWE’s history. If the company completely misses the opportunity to book this match, then that is tantamount to promotional malpractice. The company has hinted at the idea of these two forces battling at some point. There was an opportunity to book that match with Ripley winning the 2023 Royal Rumble, but instead, Ripley and Charlotte Flair tore the house down with their match.

Just imagine the music videos to promote this match like WWE used to do back in the early 2000s. This would be a generation-defining match for women’s wrestling today.

Raquel Rodriguez

Raquel Rodriguez and Rhea Ripley have a history from NXT. The moment Rodriguez’s push started; it was clear she was the woman to take the crown from Ripley – as her time in the brand was coming to an end. They delivered with some big matches, but both women are in a different position today. Rodriguez is once again chasing Ripley, unfortunately, her booking isn’t as strong as it was when she was dominating NXT.

Still, there’s an opportunity to correct things and present these two women as a massive contest. It looks like they are heading toward a face-off at SummerSlam and this should be the first in a series of bouts that come up every so often.

Tiffany Stratton

This is more of a long shot and depends on how much success Tiffany Stratton finds on WWE NXT and beyond. Her booking trajectory shows that WWE sees massive things in her, and she’s delivered to date. As the 24-year-old performer continues to gain experience, it will be interesting to see if she ends up facing off with Ripley, especially as the latter continues to pop up on Tuesday’s show. At some point, Ripley will have to pass the ball to another performing chasing her heels and Stratton may be the woman who is given the opportunity.
