WWE Bash in Berlin is set for Saturday, August 31. Five matches are planned for the card, each with its own intriguing points to look forward to. As the hours tick away, here are three things to watch for at the next WWE PLE.

The Belair – Cargill Split

The women’s tag team division has been consistently featured on WWE Raw. While that has hindered the development of individual feuds in the women’s division, this has been a way to get several ladies on television at once.

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will challenge The Unholy Union for the tag titles at Bash in Berlin. At first glance, it looks like this will result in Cargill and Belair regaining the titles. However, fans should prepare themselves for these ladies to not only lose, but for their team to end at the PLE. Cargill versus Belair has been a dream match for many since the former great to fame in AEW. SmackDown needs additional feuds in the women’s division and this is one that can capture the eyes of many.

CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre running its course

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have battled for much of the year. An accident in the Royal Rumble led to their feud almost nine months later. While it has been fun, with several big moments, things are winding down. McIntyre and Punk could benefit from time away from each other, feuding with other men on the WWE Raw roster. Is there a potential for them to come back together and face off in a Hell in a Cell? There sure is, but right now they should get some time apart after this strap match. McIntyre picked up the first one, and if he does again it will be clear that this chapter is closing between the two men.

Can Cody Rhodes keep the momentum?

Cody Rhodes finished his story at WrestleMania 40 back in May. Since then, he’s had some great matches as WWE Champion. While the matches have delivered, there’s a growing discourse about whether his run with the title is losing steam. Roman Reigns is back and The Bloodline angle is heating up. At some point, Roman is going to come for that title once again. Will Rhodes be able to keep the momentum going that will see fans support him through that feud as well? Expect him and Kevin Owens to tear the house down, but will this be a big enough moment to keep Rhodes hot?
