The Elimination Chamber is the last chance to win a title shot at WrestleMania 40 and these six men would be perfect for the match in Australia.

WWE has crossed into WrestleMania season. Cody Rhodes and Bayley are heading to WrestleMania 40 with title shots in their back pocket. But what about the rest of the women’s and men’s divisions? Who will get a shot at the two champions Rhodes and Bayley don’t choose? That’s where Elimination Chamber comes into play. Looking ahead to WWE’s trip to Australia, these are five men who should take part in the match.

Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn remains perpetually over with WWE fans. Even before his rise through The Bloodline, fans have long wanted to see him featured higher up the card. 2023 created that opportunity, yet WWE has taken a step back since. Zayn returned at The Royal Rumble and went right after Drew McIntyre, playing off the in-storyline point that McIntyre injured Zayn on purpose. Expect them to continue battling, perhaps including a major singles match at WrestleMania 40. Until then, pitting Zayn in the Elimination Chamber would be a way to keep him active at the top of the division.

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre’s heel run on WWE Raw has been close to perfect. He’s playing the bad guy that has a great point. You can hate what he does but also think that he has a point with how things have played out for him. Multiple reports have come out that McIntyre’s deal was set to expire in 2024, but there’s no word on whether he’s re-signed with WWE. Either way, keeping him in the title picture via The Elimination Chamber is another decision that makes perfect sense.

Gunther

CM Punk is out for WrestleMania 40 thanks to a triceps injury, leaving a massive hole at the top of the roster. Fans were expecting Punk to challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but that is no longer play. If that space needs to be filled, Gunther is the right man to go with. Putting him in and seeing him win the Elimination Chamber immediately establishes Gunther as a threat and now is his time to capture the highest title on WWE Raw.

Jey Uso

Jey Uso has had a strong run since jumping over to WWE Raw. He’s another performer that’s on the cusp of being the top champion in WWE Raw. He’s someone that can be added into the title picture at any time and fans would want to see him in The Elimination Chamber. Could he be the one to go through and face Rollins? Sure, it would be an interesting rematch and an opportunity to get that first big singles title on Jey’s waist.

Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker had a surprise position in The Royal Rumble and fans were very much into everything he did. Breakker has been on the main roster before, but this spotlight made him look like he belonged to this group. WWE needs to get younger within the men’s division and put Breakker in a position where he qualifies for The Elimination Chamber and has some big moments before being eliminated, perhaps having him standing as the last man against Gunther before losing – would go a long way in building him on the main roster.

Damian Priest

Heading into WrestleMania season there was a lot of talk about where everyone fit in the title picture. But very little of that talk included the Money in the Bank holder, Damian Priest. That briefcase gives him a clear run at the title, but no one would be mad at him getting some insurance via The Elimination Chamber.
