The Wrestling Revolver (WR) is owned by Sami Callihan, the Ohio heel of TNA who starred in many memorable hardcore matches. He took his show to the Indies in 2016 from Des Moines, Iowa. Many consider WR the uncut version of TNA, while others can see it as a stand-alone mixed wrestling showcase for young talent.

It is not unusual to see Speedball Mike Bailey, Ace Austin, Jake Crist, Steve Maclin, Jake Something, Jon Moxley, Josh Alexander, Jessica Havok, or Trey Miguel at a WR show. TNA stars are welcome on the card; most take home a title. But WR is more than just a greatest-hit tour for TNA wrestlers. WR cuts its legacy with all its indie talent. Wrestlers like Myron Reed, Gringo Loco, Marina Shafir, Damien Chambers, Desmond Palmer, Lince Dorado, and Alex Colon call WR their home.

WR differentiates itself with a Remix title and its iconic hardcore matches. The Remix title is the X-Division meets Hot Indie Rookie. Wrestlers like Ace Austin, Gringo Loco, and Myron Reed have given the title a great run.

The hardcore matches are sprinkled over the card, with the most brutal being in the main event. Matches like bare boards and tables, barbed wire ropes, a cage of horrors, and Monster's Ball guarantee the grizzliest contenders will be wearing crimson masks and smashing furniture. It's not unusual to see eight tables broken in a single event. Wrestling Revolver is not afraid to do intergender matches. Masha Slamovich has battled Alex Shelley in many brutal bouts, while Marina Shafir has made many wrestling behemoths tap. If you ever thought TNA was holding back its savagery, then WR is right up your alley. Also, be prepared; the F-bombs go up 900% at a WR show.

The World Title has given some of the underrated TNA talent a chance at the gold. Alex Shelley, Jake Crist, and Steve Maclin gave the title a wonderful run, while Ace Austin is the very first grand slam champion in the company.

Tag-teams thrive at WR. Not only will you see The Rascalz, ABC, and Bang and Matthews, but WR has its homegrown tag teams, including Alpha Sigma Sigma, R.E.D., and the DUB Club. Tag-team scrambles between warring factions promise pure chaos in the ring.

Critics agree that WR has an advantage over TNA's booking with Sami at the helm. Mike Bailey has been in many dream matches with Josh Alexander and Kenta. Jon Moxley and Sami tore down the house in their match. Matt Riddle, Elijah, and Swerve Strickland were also in highly anticipated matches. It's hard not to get excited about one dream match in the card for WR's monthly events.

If you are a Triller + subscriber then you probably already know about GCW, but it would be foolish not to check out The Wrestling Revolver. It's crude, it's over the top, and it's a TNA dream come true.
