WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 is almost two weeks away, and the WWE has only made one title match official for this PLE: (1) Damian Priest (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Title. It looks like rematch clauses are back in the WWE because Drew McIntyre has a statutory rematch clause after losing his World Title in five minutes to Damian Priest via MITB Cash-In at WrestleMania 40. This PLE will actually take place in Drew McIntyre's home country of Scotland, so there are plenty of stakes with that title match, especially since he got screwed over in the UK once before.

With that being said, the following will provide some match card predictions for what should be an really exciting PLE in June: WWE Clash at the Castle 2024.

Damian Priest (c) vs. Drew McIntyre [World Heavyweight Title]

Damian Priest will defeat Drew McIntyre to retain the World Title because Priest won't lose the title within two months in his second title defense after making MITB Cash-In history at Mania. That would be booking malpractice. Granted, it's unfortunate that McIntyre will have to lose in his home country once again, but he won't lose clean because CM Punk will screw McIntyre, just like he did at WrestleMania 40. This will effectively continue Punk's feud with McIntyre and officially set up their SummerSlam match whist Braun Strowman and King Gunther target Priest for the title this summer.

Prediction: Damian Priest

Bayley (c) vs. Piper Niven (w/Chelsea Green) [WWE Women's Title]

Bayley will defeat Piper Niven to retain the Women's Title because she won't lose the title within two months in hdf second title defense after finishing an entire Damage Control story against Iyo Sky at Mania. Niven is in this spot for two reasons: (1) Bayley beat Chelsea Green on SmackDown last week and was attacked by Niven attacked afterwards and (2) Niven is from Scotland, the location of the PPV. This is merely a showcase for Niven in her home country. Bayley already planted seeds for her inevitable title match against Queen Nia Jax at SummerSlam, so she will not lose her title until then.

Prediction: Bayley

Sami Zayn (c) vs. Chad Gable [InterContinental Title]

Chad Gable will dethrone Sami Zayn to become the new IC Champ because he is the only superstar with the built-in story to dethrone Zayn. He must solidify his heel turn with Alpha Academy and utilize his rumored alliance with Creed Bros and maybe Kurt Angle as a manager to finally help him win the gold. Although Zayn only recently dethroned the longest reigning IC Champion of the modern era in Gunther at Mania, he does not need a long IC Title reign, as he is long overdue to move onto bigger and better things, such as winning the MITB Briefcase in his home country of Canada next month.

Prediction: Chad Gable

Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (c) vs. The Way vs. Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark (w/Sonya Deville) vs. Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn [Women's Tag Titles]

The Way already got a title shot but they might still continue their story with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill after injuring Belair's leg. Shayna and Zoey won the official number one contender's spot after winning a fatal four way on Raw, and Sonya Deville even teased a juicy alliance with them. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn are from Scotland, so they will likely be included for hometown pride. Nonetheless, Belair and Cargill will retain the Women's Tag Titles because they recently won those title at Backlash in May and have been a formidable team ever since Mania, where they defeated Damage Control.

Prediction: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill

King Gunther vs. Randy Orton [KOTR Showcase Match]

There was apparently a controversial finish from the KOTR Finals between King Gunther and Randy Orton, in which Orton still had his shoulders up when he got pinned by Gunther. Gunther will solidify his victory as King by defeating Orton here. To maintain the credibility of the 2024 King of the Ring and the grace of the KOTR tournament itself, Gunther must win to leave out any doubts of his memorable victory. After Priest runs through McIntyre at this PLE, Strowman will target Priest at MITB in July and Gunther will have Priest all to himself for the World Title at SummerSlam in August.

Prediction: King Gunther

Liv Morgan (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria [World Women's Title]

Liv Morgan will retain the World Women's Title against Lyra Valkyria because she only recently won the title from Becky Lynch and won't lose the title until her revenge tour with Rhea Ripley is complete at SummerSlam in August. It makes sense for Lyra to be the next challenger because she will want to fight in Becky's honor since they have had a strong` mutual alliance ever since they beat the respect our of each other in their NXT Title Match in 2023. WWE even planted seeds planted between Liv and Lyra in the past few weeks on Raw after some tense, contentious interactions in the backstage area.

Prediction: Liv Morgan

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Solo Sikoa [WWE Title]

The biggest mystery seems to be Cody's next challenger for every PPV. There was a rumor going around that WWE does not have a legitimate plan for Cody's title reign, and that's probably true since there are never sufficient seeds planted in advance for his story as champion other than The Rock, and The Bloodline. Speaking of The Bloodline, Solo Sikoa, who has taken over Bloodline Business since Mania 40, would be a suitable next challenger for Cody, especially since he got a huge victory at Backlash. This would be a good showcase for him after his nascent character development.

Nonetheless, Cody Rhodes will still retain his title against the man who ruined the main event of Clash at the Castle in 2022 and use him as a steeping stone to the "real Tribal Chief," The Rock, at what should be a foreseeable main event world title match at SummerSlam this year.

Prediction: Cody Rhodes
