WWE SmackDown Predictions: The Rock Will Replace LA Knight

WWE SmackDown is continuing its road to WWE Royal Rumble 2024, which is shaping up with some top candidates like CM Punk and Bayley to be potential Rumble winners this year. On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, one match is officially scheduled: KC^2 vs. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn for the Women's Tag Team Titles. In terms of segments, Kevin Owens will have U.S. Champion Logan Paul as his guest on the Kevin Owens Show, and Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and LA Knight are scheduled to have a contract signing for their upcoming fatal four way match for the World Title.

In other news regarding WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns is scheduled to defend his World Title against Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and LA Knight in a Fatal Four Way Match at the Royal Rumble. Logan Paul is scheduled to defend his United States Championship against the winner of the #1C Tournament, Kevin Owens, at the Royal Rumble. Kabuki Warriors have some beef with Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn after being attacked by them during their holiday match last week. Karrion Kross and AOP are a newly created faction, who are ready to go to war with Bobby Lashley and Street Profits.

With that being said, the following will focus on the announced title match for WWE SmackDown and the idea of The Rock replacing LA Knight on the road to WWE Royal Rumble 2024.

KC^2 (c) vs. Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn [Women's Tag Team Titles]

KC^2 will defeat Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn to retain the Women's Tag Team Titles, thanks to some payback assistance from the Kabuki Warriors. Kabuki Warriors have unfinishes business with Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, so that should come into play in this match. Furthermoe, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn did not really win any matches to earn this title opportunity, so it would be quite peculiar if they won the tag titles in this bout. The biggest threat to KC^2's title reign will be Kabuki Warriors when all is said and done. Damage Control have aspirations to win all the gold and that includes the tag titles.

Roman Reigns v. Randy Orton v. AJ Styles v. LA Knight [World Title Contract Signing]

As a qiuck disclaimer, The Rock won't replace LA Knight in the upcoming fatal four way world title match. However, it is safe to say that The Rock stole the spotlight from all three of these contenders, especially LA Knight, who is the least established of the bunch. Despite the fact that Roman Reigns brushed off The Rock's announcement about eating at the "head of the table," fans are clearly more concerned with what goes down between Roman and Rock rather than the storyline being developed amongst these four superstars. Henceforth, this contract signing is unfortunately pointless.
