The last pay-per-view before WrestleMania 32 is here in WWE Fastlane. The show will feature plenty of matches that could bridge the gap to the big event.

Fastlane will be headlined by the main event of Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose. The winner becomes the No. 1 Contender to Triple H and his WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 32.

More from Brock Lesnar

Going into this match, Reigns is seen as the favorite given the path he has been on with The Authority for the past few months. It would make sense from the storyline arc to have him in there, but he has noticeably not been the focus of this feud. If anything, Lesnar and Ambrose’s tensions have taken center stage. They have battled for the past month with brawls that often left the Lunatic Fringe down and out.

Speaking of Ambrose, he lost the WWE Intercontinental Championship to Kevin Owens on the recent episode of Raw. Speculation began to start on whether he would have a shot of winning Fastlane’s main event. If not, something big may be in store for the former Shield man with WrestleMania 32 around the corner. What will his fate be on Sunday?

The rest of the match card seems to be in good shape.

One of the marquee matches will be AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho in their rubber bout. They have traded wins over the past month since the Phenomenal One came to WWE. It will be his first time on the PPV stage and given the talent of Jericho, these two could put on a very good match.

However, whoever comes out of this with a win will have plenty of momentum going into WrestleMania. Maybe they become the next challenger for the Intercontinental Championship?

Speaking of that title, Kevin Owens will be facing Dolph Ziggler in his first defense of his second reign. KO won the belt back from Ambrose on Raw in the Fatal 5-Way match by pinning Tyler Breeze. The Showoff then made the challenge for this match to happen at Fastlane given his recent wins over the former NXT Champion.

The other match to look forward to is Kalisto vs. Alberto Del Rio for the WWE United States Championship. They will be wrestling a 2-out-of-3 Falls match on the Kickoff Show, which came as a surprise. This should be entertaining, though, if WWE chooses to give them time to tell their story.

The Divas action will also be something to look forward to. Charlotte is defending the WWE Divas Championship against Brie Bella while Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks are facing Naomi and Tamina. The winners of these matches could have WrestleMania implications. Maybe we are on our way to Charlotte vs. Becky vs. Sasha at Apr. 3?

With this in mind, check out the match card for Fastlane.
