WWE Rumors: Anonymous Raw General Manager Storyline Dropped?
The Anonymous Raw General Manager position was controversially brought back a few weeks ago. However, could the position have disappeared for a second time?

A few weeks ago on Monday Night Raw, as the show was about to end, we heard the dreaded sound of the Anonymous Raw General Manager’s laptop. No one had heard it for nearly three years, when it was revealed that Hornswoggle was the GM hiding underneath the ring.
The fan reaction on Twitter and other wrestling websites was extremely critical, for very good reason. As mentioned above, Hornswoggle was exposed as the anonymous GM after such a long storyline that even had significance for WrestleMania 27.
When WWE brought back this position a few weeks ago, no mention of Hornswoggle was made at all. In fact, they even made it sound like on their website that no one was ever exposed. Here is their Raw preview from December 1 that highlights it.
"A number of polarizing figures have run Monday Night Raw, including the likes of The Authority, Eric Bischoff, Vickie Guerrero, John Laurinaitis and even Cheech & Chong. Yet, perhaps the most incendiary red-brand show runner was the Anonymous Raw General Manager, whose irritating email decrees to Michael Cole became one of WWE’s most boo-worthy rituals in 2010 and the first half of 2011.This person — or perhaps a group of people — is back this week for Cyber Monday, and will no doubt try to top Daniel Bryan’s one-night stint in charge of Raw last Monday night. Will the Anonymous Raw General Manager serve the best interests of the WWE Universe or their own? Also, will we finally learn the identity of this shady GM?"
The Anonymous Raw GM would end up playing a role on the show by creating John Cena vs. Seth Rollins in a Tables Match at WWE TLC. The person behind the computer played a small role for the rest of the night, but that was about it.
So, we get to the most recent Monday Night Raw, and no mention of the Anonymous Raw GM was made. Was it a coincidence? Was it because the Slammys were a highlight of the show?

If WWE really did drop the Anonymous Raw GM storyline, it’s for the best. It didn’t seem like it was going anywhere, anyway. If the plan was for Brad Maddox to be revealed as the GM, since he was fired back in May by the extinct Authority, would anyone really care? Would people be as disappointed as they were with Hornswoggle?
If the Anonymous Raw General Manager isn’t mentioned on TLC this Sunday and Raw on Monday, then it can be safely assumed that WWE is moving on. Let’s hope that’s the case.
