The beautiful Russian advocate for the mighty Rusev had some strong thoughts on men and women in society on social media this morning.

Let’s be honest, as powerful and as fun as Rusev can be in the ring sometimes when he crushes everyone in his path, we watch the unstoppable Russian because of the lovely lady on the outside of the ring.
The “Ravishing Russian”, better known as Lana, had some interesting words on the topic of men and women in the world.
Early this morning, Lana tweeted out a trio of tweets that caught some people’s attention:
The origin of why the Ravishing Russian sent out these tweets this morning is unclear, but they all pack a powerful message with a strong voice.
One of the hotter topics around WWE has been the #GiveDivasAChance campaign from some of the WWE Divas that started in February.
The campaign began with the Divas not been content with their limited amount of time in the ring during shows and not being given the ability to showcase their talents.
Granted, Lana’s tweets might have nothing to do with this, but the point remains the same: Whether it’s WWE or the “real world”, women aren’t being treated like “equals”.
A prime example of the lack of respect for women is the Divas division. Yes, the women at NXT are just like the men on the roster: Brilliant, talented and on a fast track to the main roster soon.
But, what storylines do the Divas have at the moment? Paige was written off TV to star in a movie, Natalya’s simply a valet to the Cesaro/Tyson Kidd duo right now and none of the other talent in the division are ready for a premier spot on the nightly cards.
Why?
Because of the lack of respect women have at this juncture in society.
Whether she had a completely different motive or not, Lana’s tweets from this morning have an impact and are another minor step for women in society today.
