6-Man Tag: Los Matadores & El Torito vs New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods & Big E)

Result: Woods def. El Torito by pinfall

Rating: 2.7 stars out of 5 stars

The boos for New Day were tremendous. Just so loud. Woods starts out bu Lot Matadores are hot to start the match. Los Matadores are in control of the match, but New Day regroup on the outside before El Torito kicks them from the ring. We go to break with New Day regrouping on the outside.

Back from break and Woods and New Day are in control of Fernando. New Day using their patented stomps and quick tags to keep the bullfighter grounded. Kofi gets a pin broken up by Diego, but tosses him to the outside. Both Fernando and Kofi are down, and both hit hot tags. El Torito comes in and beings to use his offence on Woods and the New Day. New Day manages to take control and Big E becomes legal against El Torito. Big E hits a huge splash, then tags in Xavier Woods to pin the bull for the win.
After the match, Kingston gives Woods some flowers and says congratulations. The New Day celebrate in the ring after the match, posing over El Torito.

Evan’s Notes: New Day better get the belts back by some underhanded trickery on Sunday. This match was a lot of fun and had the comedy spots, but also got New Day huge heel heat after the splash by Big E onto El Torito. Good little bit of action before the fatal 4 way at Summerslam.

Dolph Ziggler’s return to SmackDown is announced to be next.
