WWE SummerSlam 2015 Predictions: Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker

Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker will main event WWE SummerSlam. Who will win the match? Check out who the Daily DDT staff thinks will win.

The main event of WWE SummerSlam will be Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker. It may not be a title match but it is a huge rematch.

The build for this clash technically began when Lesnar defeated Undertaker at WrestleMania 30, ending the latter’s streak of wins. ‘Taker then sought revenge on Lesnar at WWE Battleground in his WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins. He attacked Lesnar and caused the match to end in a disqualification.

So how does the Daily DDT staff think this SummerSlam main event will go down? Find out below:

Brandon’s Prediction:

If we’re expected to believe Brock is truly a beast, he can’t lose to an obviously aging Undertaker.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar

Callum’s Prediction:

The most highly anticipated match on the SummerSlam card, the intrigue and build-up to this encounter will likely outweigh the quality of the actual contest. Many wouldn’t have forgotten the trainwreck of their WrestleMania 30 bout, with Brock Lesnar’s strong, stiff style having the potential to rock the aging Undertaker from the outset. Hopefully it exceeds expectations, but either way I’m backing the Beast to dominate the Deadman.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar

Evan G’s Prediction:

Undertaker has assumed the heel role on his quest to avenge his streak ending loss at Wrestlemania 30. Lesnar has been the unstoppable monster and Taker has always been bigger than everything, even death. While I feel like he may get some outside interference to get there, Undertaker will get the win and avenge the end of his streak.

Prediction: The Undertaker

Evan W’s Prediction:

Anything can happen in this match. Taker can win clean, Lesnar can win clean, Sting can interfere, Paul Bearer can come back to life, Cryme Tyme does a run-in. This HAS to close the show and the crowd will be up for it. Hopefully Taker holds his own and the match has a flow unlike the Mania match. Out there prediction is Taker is about to win, but Sting’s music hits. No matter who wins, the main goal of the match is to make Taker look strong.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar

Jordan’s Prediction:

Throughout the entire feud, I have felt that Lesnar will defeat ‘The Undertaker. That feeling was solidified last Monday night after The Undertaker’s *heelish* actions. Lesnar wins.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar

Rob’s Prediction:

I see Brock Lesnar winning this. He’s looked far too weak in this feud to take the loss. Plus, I think WWE realizes that an upcoming star deserves a win over Lesnar one day, I think.

Prediction: The Undertaker

Teddy’s Prediction:

As much as it pains me to say it, The Undertaker will get the win. It’s hard to imagine The Undertaker taking his a loss again to Brock Lesnar after losing his undefeated streak to him at WrestleMania 30. I’m kind of curious if Taker wins with hellish tactics after the two low blows over the last month. I just hope it doesn’t derail any of Lesnar’s momentum that’s been built up.

Prediction: The Undertaker

It looks like we’re at 5-3 with Lesnar defeating Undertaker in this SummerSlam rematch. Who wins this main event?
