WWE SummerSlam 2015 Predictions: Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens
Cesaro and Kevin Owens will face off at WWE SummerSlam. Who will win the match? Check out who the Daily DDT staff thinks comes out on top.
Kevin Owens and Cesaro will go to battle at WWE SummerSlam one night after Owens goes for the NXT Championship.
The build for this match began during Owens’ feud with John Cena. Cesaro and the former NXT Champion got involved in each other’s matches have had a war of words with each other. While we should expect a great match out of the two, there hasn’t been much to note from their program.

So how does the Daily DDT staff think this SummerSlam match will go down? Find out below:
Brandon’s Prediction:
This could go either way, but I’m picking Owens mainly because he desperately needs the win to save his reputation.
Prediction: Kevin Owens
Callum’s Prediction:
A sleeper for match of the night, the performance and quality of this contest is the most significant factor in this contest. As long as Kevin Owens and Cesaro are handed 15-20 minutes to create an excellent story throughout, the actual winner becomes less and less significant in helping them stand out from the crowd. The result is therefore a toss-up, as both have the potential to become prevalent in the upper mid-card, but I feel Owens has more to gain right now.
Prediction: Kevin Owens
Evan G’s Prediction:
One of the hardest matches on the card to predict, as both men could really use the win. Cesaro is getting another main event level push ever since Tyson Kidd got hurt, and Owens has lost a lot of his heat coming off of his feuds with Cena on the main roster and Finn Balor in NXT. Owens will lose to Balor at NXT TakeOver, so he may get a win here and balance it out.
Prediction: Kevin Owens
Evan W’s Prediction:
Whoever loses will be considered being buried by WWE. This match will be a hardcore fan’s dream. In 2011 we had Punk vs Bryan, now we have Cesaro vs Owens. Expect countless false finishes, finishers being kicked off of and perhaps a few moves we’ve never seen before. And maybe we’ll get a Steen or Claudio chant. “This is awesome.”
Prediction: Kevin Owens
Jordan’s Prediction:
Matches on back to back days for Kevin Owens and both could be match of the year candidates.
Prediction: Kevin Owens
Rob’s Prediction:
Both Cesaro and Kevin Owens could really use the win here and I think you’ll see the desperation for it during the match, despite that everything is obviously predetermined. I see Owens getting the win that he probably needs more than ever after WWE botched his use in his feud with Cena, which should have put him over as being on the cusp of the main event.
Prediction: Kevin Owens
Sherron’s Prediction:
Prediction: Kevin Owens
Teddy’s Prediction:
This could very well be the match of the night if given the time. I think they will get a 20-minute match or so. Expect several false finishes and a handful of stuff we haven’t seen before. Kevin Owens gets the win over Cesaro.
Prediction: Kevin Owens
It looks like we are all in favor of Owens defeating Cesaro at SummerSlam. Do you see it being any other way?
