WWE SummerSlam 2015 Predictions: Ryback vs. Big Show vs. The Miz

Ryback, Big Show and The Miz will battle for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WWE SummerSlam. Who will win the match? Check out who the Daily DDT staff thinks comes out on top.

Ryback will be defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Big Show and The Miz in a triple threat match at WWE SummerSlam.

The build for this match began in June, when Miz interfered during a Ryback vs. Show IC Title match at WWE Money in the Bank. From there, a triple threat match was made for WWE Battleground. However, Ryback went down with a staph infection, leading to the bout being cancelled and moved to SummerSlam.

Now Ryback gets to defend his belt for the first time in almost two months.

So how does the Daily DDT staff think this SummerSlam match will go down? Find out below:

Brandon’s Prediction:

It will be Rybacks biggest match since winning the title, and if WWE wants some meaning brought back to the belt, they’ll keep it on Ryback for a while.

Prediction: Ryback

Callum’s Prediction:

A match that should have taken place five weeks earlier, this feud has been hampered by lame storytelling and the absence of Ryback through injury. The Big Guy might have lost some steam through the effects of his staff infection, but the reaction he received upon his return to RAW showed that the fans are still fully behind him. His reign has hardly had the chance to breathe, and that is why I think he will stand triumphant over Big Show and the Miz.

Prediction: Ryback

Evan W’s Prediction:

Momentum be damned and staph infection be vanquished, we have ourselves an IC title match! Since Z-Paks weren’t cutting the cheese, Ryback needed much recuperation time and now he is back to feed or win or eat people. Expect the Big Show to dominate early then fall out of the ring while the Miz plays coy and tries to steal the win. However, Ryback’s meal with the IC title is not yet over. And Damien Sandow will be backstage reminiscing about the good old days when he was on TV.

Prediction: Ryback

Jordan’s Prediction:

The Big Show is in no position to carry a title at this point in his career and The Miz…well, you know, he is that guy that used to be on that MTV reality show. Ryback wins.

Prediction: Ryback

Rob’s Prediction:

I’m going with The Miz stealing the IC Title belt. Not in the fashion that Dean Ambrose has stole belts but I think Miz sneaks out with the belt. He’ll probably get dominated by both Ryback and Big Show. Then when one of them are down, Miz could come in and steal the pin. It just seems like that’s where we’re headed with how this has been booked.

This match really lost its momentum with Ryback’s injury, didn’t it? I’m going with Ryback retaining the title over The Miz and Big Show.
