Final Thoughts:
Coming off one of the hottest RAW’s of the year, it was going to be interesting to see how SmackDown would play out. The show had its ups and downs but wasn’t disappointing at all.
The show had some highlights including the Rollins promo, the focus on the Wyatt/Reigns & Ambrose story, as well as the Dudley Boyz and New Day interaction. These three stories are definitely a good focus going forward into Night of Champions considering that Undertaker/Lesnar is going to be saved for WrestleMania.
However the show also lagged in certain areas, such as the Divas match and the lack of time for Neville/Owens. If one of the numerous recaps could be taken away and replaced with a few more minutes of in-ring action the show would’ve benefited. Also, more New Day because they simply rock.
Jimmy Uso “Uce” Counter: 3
If an Uso botches a move, would it be considered Gr-Uce-ome? Also, great job by Rich Brennan on commentary. He did well at calling the in ring action much like he does at NXT.
