WWE MSG Results: Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens (Video)

Before the match begins Jericho gets on the microphone telling the crowd that this is his 25th anniversary in the wrestling industry. What better way to celebrate it then at the Worlds Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden.

The match begins with Owens throwing Jericho into the counter and kicking him down. Jericho though fights back and dropkicks Owens sending him out to the ring. Jericho follows and throws Owens into the announce table. Owens though reclaims momentum and he sends Jericho back into the ring. Owens hits a senton for a two count.

Owens then puts Jericho in sitting headlock in the middle of the ring. Owens tries to throw Jericho out of the ring but Jericho lands on the apron climbs the rope and hits a double axe handle. Jericho tries to go for the Walls of Jericho but Owens fights out, Jericho though connects with an enziguri.

Jericho throws Owens into the corner but Owens explodes out and hits a clothesline on Jericho. Owens tries to hit his pop up powerbomb but Jericho counters and tries to hit the Codebreaker. Owens counters and hits a piledriver for a two count.

Jericho fights back he hits a bulldog and then tries to go for the lionsault. Owens gets his knees up though. Owens then throws Jericho into the corner and he hits a rolling dive on Jericho. Owens then climbs the top and tries to hit a senton bomb. Jericho gets his knees up and puts Owens in the Walls of Jericho. Owens makes it to the ropes though.

Owens tries to gain momentum but Jericho hits a codebreaker for a close two count. The two are standing in the ring where out of nowhere Owens hits a superkick. He then throws Jericho into the ropes and tries to hit the pop up powerbomb. Jericho reveres and hits the hurricanrana. Owens though flips over Jericho for a pin but Jericho flips over and tries to apply the Walls of Jericho again. Owens would grab Jericho and put him in a small package for the three count.

Jays Note: Really good back and forth match. Jericho may now be 25 years in the business but he can still move with the best of them.
