3 Reasons Why “Stone Cold” Steve Austin Must Appear on WWE Raw This Monday
Steve Austin is a Crowd-Pleaser
We previously noted how Raw needs a “spark” that has been missing for a long time. Part of that has to do with the crowds, which can enhance a WWE live show in a positive light, most of the time.
Take a look at the video above. All those moments featured the crowd erupting for a moment that didn’t expected or highly-anticipated happening but couldn’t hold in their emotions. It creates a memorable highlight that fans will check back to the WWE Network or YouTube to re-watch.
Unfortunately, those moments have lacked in recent years due to a weak effort from WWE Creative and the company in general. It can be argued they have gotten “lazy” when putting together shows, leading to an uninspiring product placed on TV and a weak reaction from the fans.
More often than not we see a “dead” crowd at WWE events. Fans just seemingly aren’t into the show unless they are from the Northeast or Chicago. This could be due to those arenas being full of “smart” fans or the increasingly family-friendly atmosphere elsewhere. However, maybe it’s because the shows just aren’t exciting. That glass-shattering sound would bring immediate joy.
We need to hear the glass shatter once. Give the fans something to be happy about coming out of Raw for once. Raw may only be drawing a shade over 3 million fans but the number of fans who are really out there need this to enjoy WWE, something they have always wanted to see thrive.
