Predicting WWE’s Tag Team Division in 2017

Main Roster Heels:
Dash & Dawson: The second-coming of the Brainbusters, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are a solid workhorse team currently in NXT. These two can go in the ring and could easily tussle with teams on the main roster. Pairing them with a good manager to do their talking, like Zeb Colter, would make them a formidable pair.
Wyatt Family: By the Wyatt Family here, the tag team would be Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman. Luke Harper has the most potential of Bray Wyatt’s family as a singles wrestler, so Rowan and Strowman will go for the tag titles. It’s almost criminal that the Wyatts didn’t have a run with the tag titles during their first time around. That will change by 2017 as the Wyatts may dominate 2016.
The Ascension: The face-painted lower-card warriors will not have their leader in Stardust by 2017, as hopefully he will have reverted back to Cody Rhodes. The Ascension may not have much of a direction in 2017, but they will still be there. They may be jobbers, but they will still be in the WWE.
The Dudley Boyz: The Dudleyz have nostalgia-styled face appeal currently, and will for the foreseeable future. Bubba Ray and D-Von are really entertaining right now, but are at their best as heels. While they may not be allowed to put old ladies through tables anymore, the Dudleyz deserve another tag title run and another big heel run in what will likely be their last run in WWE.
The New Hollywood Blondes (Dolph Ziggler & Tyler Breeze): Our editor, Rob Wolkenbrod, recently wrote about how these two playboys could become a team and I absolutely love the idea. Having Ziggler and Breeze form to make a tag team would give Breeze a solid start to his main roster career, and Ziggler a fresh start as a heel. Ziggler has held tag team gold once, as part of the Spirit Squad (if you can count that). Give these two a manager in Summer Rae and make the New Hollywood Blondes one of the cornerstone teams in the WWE tag team division come 2017.
