How Upset WWE Fans Can Demonstrate Their Frustration

It’s no surprise that there are upset WWE fans at all and they need to show it so that the WWE and Vince McMahon start to take notice. That may mean canceling subscriptions and staying at home when they come to town.

Many of the columns I write are will usually explain what the WWE creative team is doing wrong, whether it’s not utilizing a character the right way of having a storyline that doesn’t make sense in terms of accomplishing long-term goals.

Yet it seems that no one in Stamford, Conn., is really reading what fans like us like to think. But if you’re new to our website here is a summary – we feel bored by the storylines and they don’t seem to try to push certain wrestlers. In a way that almost feels like we are being forced to root for them as good guys when they

Additionally, it’s almost as if the writers have forgotten the most important rule if they’re going to be forced to write for two weekly programs and 12 monthly pay-per-views; everything should be planned out towards an end goal. There have been a number of storylines that look like it’s not going anywhere but to fill air time.

However, how many times do people like myself and many others here on Daily DDT have this discussion of how WWE is doing it wrong? The ratings are showing it, but apparently that isn’t affecting Vince McMahon. I guess I can’t blame him because there are a number of reasons why the TV ratings are down that are different from low ratings. For example, people want to watch football and we’re in the middle of the NFL season.

At the same time, there are many ways that the fans can rally together and make real statements to show the WWE that you are not happy with the product. For one, take a look at that subscription to the WWE Network – cancel it.

Sure, you would love to be able to look back to the days when it was done right and how there is a lot of talent at NXT to enjoy. But with cable providers starting to drop carrying the monthly pay-per-views, the viewership of their big events starts to decrease greatly.

The second step is to stop attending shows. There have been times where the WWE live events drew small crowds, but that means also not buying tickets to the television events. That is a big part of the money that WWE makes and if attendance starts to fall, it will start to affect the WWE financially.

If the WWE starts seeing that their main television events are not filling arenas, the hope is that they start to notice that maybe there really is a problem. Eventually, Mr. McMahon will start to notice that the stocks will fall as the live audiences and the network subscriptions decline greatly – just in time before the biggest show of the year.

Fans are capable of taking over the show, as seen with basically changing the plans for WrestleMania 30. But this isn’t necessarily a call to try and get someone like Daniel Bryan in the main event or to set a match card in a certain way. In all honestly, some of us might be okay with Roman Reigns being the champion as a heel.

It’s all about what suits the characters better in terms of storylines and what actually makes sense when it comes to championships, rivalries and having power within an industry. A lot of wrestling fans like us don’t feel like we’re getting that. If the fans start to show it, it might be a reminder to WWE that the fans do have some power to take down the financial empire.
