WWE Roadblock 2016: Updated Match Card and Speculation

How is the card for WWE Roadblock shaping up ahead of the event next Saturday?

On Saturday, Mar. 12, WWE will present the WWE Network Special, Roadblock, from the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The show will be the last big special held before the biggest show of the year for WWE, WrestleMania 32.

The show will feature a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Champion Triple H and Challenger Dean Ambrose. Triple H is scheduled to face Roman Reigns in the main event at WrestleMania in a little over a months time. So far we only have that match confirmed, but several others are in the pipeline, with matches on recent episodes of Raw and SmackDown building towards the special event.

• Who will walk out champion and face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania?

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Kevin Owens (c) vs. The Big Show

• Speculation
• Kevin Owens and Big Show have shared wins on the last couple of WWE tv shows, there should be a third match between the pair at Roadblock, with Owens’ title on the line.

WWE World Tag Team Championship Match
The New Day (c) vs. Y2AJ (Chris Jericho and AJ Styles)

• Speculation
• Jericho and Styles were foes, now they are teammates. Y2AJ beat the New Day last week on SmackDown (along with Mark Henry), and then beat them on Raw this week. Following that win Styles proclaimed Y2AJ as the number one contenders for the Tag Titles and want a match for the gold.

Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz

• Speculation
• These two had a match on Raw, that apparently came from the fact that Ziggler said Miz had done nothing since he main evented WrestleMania 27, and he didn’t have the right to be a WWE Superstar. They had a match on Raw which The Miz won, so expect a re-match soon.

Dash and Dawson vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass

• Speculation
• These two teams are on a collision course, they clashed at NXT London in late 2015 and only last week the NXT Tag Team Champions attacked Enzo as he entered the WWE Performance Centre. Dash and Dawson deserve a loss to Enzo and Cass before they head to the main roster (probably) in the not too distant future.
