WWE WrestleMania 32: Dean Ambrose Should Be in the Main Event
Dean Ambrose has been on a whole new level lately, and it’s time to give him the push he deserves.
Dean Ambrose has been exceptional lately. There’s really no other way to put it. While Roman Reigns was predictably thrust into the WrestleMania 32 main event and continues to show why he is not ready to be the face of WWE just yet, Ambrose is going out there and showing everyone exactly why he’s one of the best overall talents on the roster. Night in and night out, the guy brings it, and the longer he stays in Reigns’ shadow, the more we wonder when WWE will realize what is standing right in front of them.
It almost feels like Ambrose can sense that fans are going back to their original indifference/dislike for Reigns and he wants to seize the opportunity to take the spot. And oddly enough, despite Reigns being the obvious golden boy, WWE seems to be giving Ambrose the opportunity to show his stuff. Now it’s not like they weren’t giving him TV time, because they were, but my point is they could have easily been satisfied with giving him the Brock Lesnar match and letting that be that.

Instead, they’ve decided to let him temporarily pull double duty and have this feud with Triple H, at least until WWE Roadblock. It definitely makes you wonder. Could WWE be trying to find a way to fit Ambrose into the main event of WrestleMania via this Roadblock match? Could the match possibly end in a draw leading to his addition into the match, or even better, could Ambrose actually win the title at Roadblock? At this point, anything seems possible. But no matter what the result on March 12th, Dean Ambrose needs to be in the main event on April 3rd at WrestleMania.
As it stands right now, the main event is gearing up to be a major dud. Most expect Roman Reigns to win, which would probably be met with the most negative end-of-WrestleMania reaction ever. So how can WWE give fans what they want? Put Ambrose in the main event, and whether he wins or loses, things are shaken up for the better.

If Ambrose were to win, be it in a triple threat or defending his newly won title, the arena would go insane. He’s the guy fans are behind, and if after all this Reigns talk Ambrose were the one holding the belt high at the end of the night, especially after beating Brock Lesnar earlier, you’ve got yourselves a Daniel Bryan-esque Mania ending.
Now if Ambrose were to lose, then that could trigger the infamous Reigns heel turn that should’ve been executed long ago. I’m not gonna say anything here that hasn’t been said a million times before, but just to recap, Reigns has poor mic skills and looks perpetually angry, so he needs to stop making lame jokes, shut up, and be the monster he was born to be. If WWE is this dead-set on giving him the title, then fine, but make him do it as a heel and make him do it by brutally beating his “brother” Dean Ambrose.

No matter how the match ends, if Dean Ambrose is somehow involved in the WrestleMania main event, it becomes a much more interesting matchup. His recent conflict with Triple H could be an indication of this happening, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
