WWE WrestleMania 32 Predictions: Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

facebooktwitterreddit

A look at the predictions for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will take place on the main show at WrestleMania 32 after taking place on the Kickoff Show last year. It was supposed to appear on there again but WWE made a late change to the match card.

The first two winners have seen Cesaro and Big Show walk out with the trophy. With not much build for this year’s match, it is a tossup for who could win this battle royal.

Strowman is WWE’s next big thing as far as giants go, and Vince is supposedly really high on him. This is the perfect stage to establish him as the newest dominant big man in the company, especially since the Wyatts are currently not featured anywhere else on the WrestleMania card.

Prediction: Braun Strowman

The battle royal seems to exist to give someone a bump, and it looks like Braun Strowman might be the guy this year. The Social Outcasts will provide some comedic relief, but ultimately I see the match coming down to Strowman, Big Show, and Kane, with Strowman eliminating both to win the trophy.

Prediction: Braun Strowman

The win has to go to Braun Strowman. WWE are trying to build him as a monster and a good way to start that could be to allow him to get rid of men like the Big Show and Kane, before eliminating Bray Wyatt on the way to winning the match.

The old veterans have to something, right? Mark Henry wins.

Since the Wyatt Family isn’t really in anything this year, I’m hoping they can, at least, get the spotlight in this match. The whole team can toss everyone out, then Erick, Luke (if he’s healthy enough), and Braun can all step out to give Bray the win.

Prediction: Bray Wyatt

The winner of this match hasn’t mattered in the previous two years so why should it matter this year? The winner doesn’t earn anything besides the comically large trophy that ends up being destroyed 50% of the time. The match is too new to be prestigious in any way and not even the WWE takes it seriously as evidenced by its appearance on the pre-show and not the main
card. The list of participants has been reduced from 30 to 20 and with the most recognizable names being involved in more important matches this event will be an exercise in being reminded about people we almost forgot still work for the WWE.

Prediction: Braun Strowman

People seem to be pegging Braun Strowman for the spot of the winner here. Instead, I’ll say it’s Wyatt. Strowman will do a lot of the heavy lifting in the matchup, racking up eliminations. In the end, when it’s just Wyatt and Strowman, the “Black Sheep” will willingly step over the rope and give the win to his charismatic leader.

Prediction: Bray Wyatt

This match is really anyone’s guess at WrestleMania 32. If reports of Cesaro possibly being included in this bout are true, then I’m going with him as the winner since this needs some type of spark.

Prediction: Cesaro

Battle royals can be won by anyone and this one is no different. So far only 16 participants are confirmed and Big Show would likely be the favorite to repeat as the winner. However, with the Wyatt’s not having anything else going on at WrestleMania I would expect at a minimum Braun Strowman to be involved. If he is involved my prediction would be that he would win possibly setting up a future program with the Big Show.

Prediction: Braun Strowman

With some help from his Wyatt Family members, Bray Wyatt will be this year’s winner. Hopefully, this win will set him on a collision course with Brock Lesnar for later in the year.

Does this matter? WrestleMania’s in Texas so I’ll give it to a Texas boy.

Prediction: Mark Henry
