With Money in the Bank around the corner, Kevin Owens needs to leave the event with the briefcase in his possession.
Monday Night on Raw, Kevin Owens earned himself a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder match. In an impressive win, he defeated AJ Styles to earn his place in the bout. The match already boasts an impressive lineup with Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio and Dean Ambrose, making for one of the deepest fields in MITB history.
With this star-studded lineup, though, there is only one person who should win the match. That man is Owens.

During his rookie year on the main roster, KO has shown since day one that he is a future star. After battling stars like John Cena, Dean Ambrose, and Sami Zayn, the former NXT Champion showed time and time again that he is a special talent. He went on to win the Intercontinental Championship twice during his first year as well.
Owens has had a multitude of fantastic matches as well. For a man of his size, Owens has shown agility and strength throughout his matches. After being in the match that stole the show during the last two pay-per-views, Owens should be rewarded.
Along with his impressive work inside the ring, Owens is also one of the best talkers on the microphone. The Prizefighter has the ability to make you both laugh when he’s on, and the ability to make fans boo him out of the building.

Generally, WWE has a heel carry the briefcase. Only three heels are in the Money in the Bank lineup (Ownes, Alberto Del Rio & Chris Jericho), and at this point in his career, it seems unlikely that Jericho will get the briefcase.
Del Rio has already won the briefcase in the past, so it doesn’t seem like he will get it again. Kevin Owens would be the perfect person to cash in on Roman Reigns. With his title run not going over despite two very solid matches against AJ Styles, Owens would be the perfect person to cash in.
The event could even create a double turn, as Owens could turn into a heelish-face, while Reigns could turn into a frustrated heel. After constantly doing things by the book, Reigns could finally turn heel after the fans embrace Owens for sneakingly cashing in on him.

The Big Dog desperately needs to turn heel and having Owens cash in on him could start this process. WWE would also gain a brand new main eventer in the process, which could benefit the upcoming draft.
Whether he goes to RAW or SmackDown in the draft, Owens going to either show as the WWE Champion or Mr. Money in the Bank would help gather a buzz around him. While it seems like the most predictable outcome that Owens will win the Money in the Bank briefcase, sometimes, being predictable is the best decision.
