1. AJ Styles
Was there really ever a doubt? AJ Styles is, was, and will always be the greatest superstar that TNA has ever seen. At the ripe old age of 24, Styles came to the company with about 4 years of professional wrestling under his belt. He had made a couple of brief appearances in the WWE and the WCW before finally landing with the company that would make him not only TNA’s best of all time but a superstar on a global stage. The Phenomenal One was one of the biggest reasons that TNA could consistently argue that their in-ring talent was some of the best on earth, including better than the WWE.

Attempting to articulate the resume from his 11 years with the company would take a very long time but just know that this guy did absolutely everything there was to do in TNA. Aside from a couple of silly gimmicks, he got saddled with during the Hogan/Russo/Bischoff years, Styles was the model of excellence. He seemed to be the type of guy that got better with age and no matter if he was playing babyface or heel, the TNA fans loved him. His best matches were so important for TNA that just a mere mention of them in an article would not come nearly close to explaining just how much. Any writer would need a whole article to get that point across.

After Styles left TNA in 2013, he found massive success in Japan before signing with the WWE. Since coming to the WWE and becoming a world champion yet again he has constantly touted himself as ‘The Face That Runs The Place” as a shot at John Cena. But the fact is that when he was in TNA he actually was that guy and at this pace, it doesn’t look like it’ll be long before he achieves that status again in WWE.
