5 Roman Reigns matches that exceeded expectations
Roman Reigns vs. Big Show (Extreme Rules 2015)
Fun fact: Roman Reigns suffered his first singles loss in WWE by pinfall at the hands of Big Show in January 2015 (in uneventful fashion, mind you). They did battle a number of times from that point forward, including at Extreme Rules later that year in a Last Man Standing match.

Lest we forget, none of those early encounters between Reigns and Show were any good. In fact, The World’s Largest Athlete hasn’t had many classics over the course of his career, anyway, and Reigns didn’t seem to be the right person to get a great match out of him.
Therefore, putting them together again at Extreme Rules (but this time in a Last Man Standing matchup) had disaster written all over it. Those types of matches tend to be boring and tedious regardless of the competitors involved, yet Reigns and Show somehow managed to have one of the more memorable Last Man Standing affairs in recent years.
The bumps both men took were crazy, the crowd was into everything they did, and most importantly, Reigns stole the show yet again. The best way to win over the masses is by proving them wrong, and by having an exceptional outing with Big Show, Reigns demonstrated that he was a better in-ring performer than fans gave him credit for.
