Report: Jordynne Grace Signs Two-Year Deal With Impact Wrestling
The best part of Impact Wrestling is its Knockouts Division, and that division just got even more loaded with the report signing of Jordynne Grace.
Impact Wrestling is taking care of its tapings for the upcoming cycle of shows after Bound For Glory in New York City, so there will be plenty of news about new faces in the promotion. Jordynne Grace was spotted at the recent tapings, and PWInsider.com’s Mike Johnson reported that it seems like she has signed a two-year contract with the company. Tessa Blanchard also signed a two-year deal with Impact earlier in 2018.
Grace was one of the best free agents in professional wrestling, so this is a massive addition to the Impact roster. Prior to Bound For Glory, Impact had some issues with depth in their divisions, and injuries have played their part in that. Rosemary is still out with a torn ACL, and Shotzi Blackheart has missed time, too.
The Knockouts Division looks absolutely loaded with Tessa Blanchard as the champion and Allie, Taya Valkyrie, Kiera Hogan, Su Yung, Rosemary, Blackheart, and Grace filling out the rest of the roster. Alisha Edwards, Scarlett Bordeaux, and Katarina Waters have also been important pieces in the division, advancing storylines throughout the summer, with Bordeaux being a particularly bright spot in terms of character work.
What Grace brings to the table for Impact is a standout athlete who can do it all inside the ring. She’s competed against the best of the best, and it will be exciting to watch her showcase her abilities on weekly television. It’s been a long time coming, and a quick glance at her schedule will show you just how hard she works.

There are so many proverbial “dream matches” with Grace on the Impact roster, including a tear-down-the-house fight against Tessa. She’s certainly faced Tessa before, including last month for the BLP Heavyweight Title, but it would be something else to see it on an Impact PPV. Grace is also the current WSU Spirit Champion, having won it off of current Knockouts talent Kiera Hogan, who previously took the title off of former Knockouts Champion Su Yung.
For now, it will be interesting to see the role she plays in this division immediately after her reported signing, and it’s worth noting that she’ll face Taya for the first time ever at Ladies Night Out on Nov. 17.
The rest of the Knockouts Division has definitely been put on notice, because “Air Jordynne” is coming for them. Nobody on this roster offers what she does as a strength athlete, and I have a feeling Impact fans will be singing her praises effusively over these next two years, if she has indeed signed a contract for that period of time.
This Friday, Grace will appear at NOVA Pro Wrestling’s Sadie Hawkins Invitational, teaming up with Jermaine Gresham in the mixed tag team tournament. If you ask me, they’re the favorites to win it, and the tourney is worth catching on Powerbomb.TV in the future.
Impact Wrestling has been exciting largely because of the excellent work being done in the Knockouts Division. The Allie/Su Yung story with all of its moving parts has been splendid, Bordeaux is wildly entertaining, and Tessa’s work as champion has been exceptional. Add a talent like Grace into the mix with her talent and in-ring IQ, and you have a truly special division. It’s awesome that Impact inked Grace to a deal, and hopefully they have it in their budget to sign some more great wrestlers like her.
