KUSHIDA does his best to neutralize Shingo with solid grappling. He works the arm, but Takagi powers out eventually. Tag to BUSHI, and the pair hit some innovative tandem offense.
The BOOSH continues to work KUSHIDA, but Sabin is able to tag in and hit a nice crossbody on both Ingobernables. He shifts his focus to BUSHI, and Shingo makes him pay. Elbow drop.
Snap suplex. Back to BUSHI, who puts an STF on Sabin as Shingo holds back KUSHIDA. Rope break, but Shingo inflicts more damage outside the ring.
Sabin fights back with elbows and makes the tag. KUSHIDA gets a good run on both of his opponents and goes for an armbar on BUSHI, but he makes the ropes and downs KUSHIDA with a rebound enziguri. Tags to Shingo and Sabin.
They lay in clotheslines and forearms. Shingo tries to run the ropes, but Sabin counters and starts getting some good shots in. Big tornado DDT off the top rope and Takagi might actually be in trouble. Package pin with a bridge, but BUSHI is just able to make the save. AWESOME Muta lock/dropkick combo on BUSHI. Hail Sabin attempt on Shingo, but it’s reversed into a sick pop up DVD.
Last of the Dragon attempt, but Sabin gets free. Bushi back and gets an assisted lungblower. Suicide dive to KUSHIDA and Shingo has Sabin alone in the ring. Noshigami attempt. Sabin reverses into a cradle for a near fall. Noshigami again. It connects and is followed by the Pumping Bomber. Near fall. Last of the Dragon. Done.
Shingo/BUSHI def Time Machine
This Shingo is really something special. He delivered another epic performance here, showing off again just how much a well-rounded performer he is. I thought his sequence with Sabin in the closing moments was the highlight of the match, but the little teases with KUSHIDA got me hyped about a possible future singles encounter.
I will say, I’m a bit frustrated with how they’re portraying BUSHI as the clear weak link of the team. Pretty much every time he’s been legal in these past two matches, he’s had to have Shingo save him. It’s fine if it’s intentional for a future storyline, but I doubt that’s the case. I get it though, Takagi is the cool new wrestler and they want to let him show off in his first few matches. Just, hopefully BUSHI will get to be the hero at some point.
