The latest NXT TakeOver event is set for this Saturday, November 17. Read on for details on the full card for WarGames 2, and details on how to watch the show.

It’s once again time for the future of WWE to take center stage. NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2 is set to take the Staples Center in Los Angeles by storm this Saturday, November 17.

A year ago, WWE brought back the classic NWA/WCW WarGames match for the TakeOver event in Houston during Survivor Series weekend. It was the first time WWE had utilized the match featuring a double ring surrounded by a steel cage, and the first WarGames match in nearly twenty years.

The 2017 event was met with some criticism from purists that the WarGames match was not traditionally accurate. Rather than two larger teams, it was a triple threat affair pitting SAnitY, The Undisputed Era, and Roderick Strong and the Authors of Pain against each other. Still, the match itself — and the entire card — were met with high praise at the end of the night.

That means that this year, WWE and NXT have set themselves up with a tough act to follow. There’s already been some question as to WWE’s decision to feature only four matches on the card, as opposed to the now-traditional five that TakeOver usually features. But each of the matches scheduled for Saturday is the culmination of a lengthy story, and deserving of a lengthy contest.

So what are these four matches? Per WWE’s official website, here’s the entire card for NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2 this Saturday:

"Ricochet, Pete Dunne, & The War Raiders vs. The Undisputed Era (WarGames Match)NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa vs. Velveteen DreamNXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler vs. Kairi Sane (2-out-of-3 Falls Match)Aleister Black vs. Johnny Gargano"

For my money, the match to watch is Baszler vs. Sane. The duo have been feuding for the better part of a year, going back to the inaugural Mae Young Classic last summer. They’ve traded the NXT Women’s Championship back and forth, and all of their matches have been tremendous. A 2-out-of-3 Falls match is a perfect end to this rivalry, and a natural extension of what they’ve already done.

Of course, none of the matches are expected to be “bad,” if you ask me. Ciampa and Dream will give fans a psychological battle for the ages. Black and Gargano are master storytellers, and there’s got to be more than meets the eye here. And the WarGames match? Ricochet inside two rings? Come on man, it’s going to be spectacular.

So how do you watch this show? Obviously, you could be in the Staples Center on Saturday, November 17 at 7 p.m. ET. But since that isn’t possible for most of us, we’ll have to fire up the ol’ WWE Network. The action starts with the WarGames Pre-Show at 6:30 p.m. ET.
