Bray Wyatt

Like Balor, Bray Wyatt has also had one run with a major championship, but was actually able to hold onto the belt for more than one day. However, Wyatt still did not ever successfully defend the title on a PPV as he dropped it at WrestleMania 33 to Randy Orton just over a month after he had won it at Elimination Chamber. That match was drastically underwhelming and included the worms spot that Wyatt still pokes fun at today.

Wyatt has reinvented himself with the Firefly Fun House and a new, even more twisted, persona. WWE fans have not yet seen Wyatt back in action and it should be a slow burn towards a main title. It cannot be something that they thrust him into.

The reason why Wyatt deserves a run more than other people on the roster is because of his current momentum. He and R-Truth arguably have the most momentum of anyone on the roster right now and Truth should definitely stay attached to the 24/7 Championship.

Wyatt, on the other hand, can come back whilst picking and choosing his spots. Have him be a truly terrifying menace that haunts Superstars and attacks them like a horror movie. Wait for his first real match to occur at SummerSlam and build off of his momentum from there.

Wyatt has the momentum and WWE has failed to capitalize on momentum so much in recent years that they cannot mess this one up. They did not put the belt on Wyatt’s former Family member, Braun Strowman, when he was the hottest act in wrestling and have done the same with countless other superstars.

It seems as if they have learned their lesson after booking Kofi Kingston to go over with his massive momentum heading into WrestleMania and if they can do the same with Wyatt, it will go over extremely well.
