AEW Dynamite saw a lot of action this Wednesday night that could potentially set up the future landscape of the brand, so where should they go from here?

Another episode of AEW Dynamite is in the books. The latest episode was packed with action and also saw the early developments of new storylines for a lot of the wrestlers and factions in the company.

The main event was a Street Fight between Proud & Powerful and the Young Bucks. The Bucks were finally able to pick up a significant win in AEW and now, they are going on to face SCU for the AEW Tag Team Championships next week.

The rest of the show, outside of a great match where Big Swole defeated Emi Sakura, was dedicated to setting up potential feuds and alliances for future episodes of AEW Dynamite.

Chris Jericho approached Jon Moxley with an invitation to join The Inner Circle, The Dark Order aired a vignette targeting perennial AEW jobbers, Alex Reynolds and John Silver, in an attempt to recruit them, then Brandi Rhodes teased a new member of The Nightmare Collective while also making her intention of recruiting The Alien, Kris Statlander, clear.

Outside of these recruitment angles, there were also some more developments in budding storylines. Jungle Boy got an unofficial pin on AEW Champion, Chris Jericho, after Luchasaurus defeated Sammy Guevara, MJF teased a stipulation for his future match against Cody, and Joey Janela tied up Shawn Spears’ mentor, Tully Blanchard, during a match.

So, with all of this set up to catapult AEW into a fresh and exciting 2020, I have a few Hot Takes about where AEW can take these storylines heading into the new year. So, as always, at least read why I have these three takes before getting mad on the internet.
