A World Champion enters

The Men’s Rumble already has the WWE Champion coming in at number one. Which is odd given that the whole prize of the Royal Rumble is supposed to be a World Title main event for the winner (I suppose Brock Lesnar could challenge The Fiend if he wins, I guess), but that is neither here nor there.

What is here and there is the potential in a women’s World Title holder potentially entering the Women’s Rumble as a surprise entrant. Since Lesnar is doing the same on the men’s side, the door is at least open for that possibility, especially for Bayley, who right now (as of this writing) does not have an opponent for the Pay-Per-View. Since her time is free’d up, she could make a claim to win the whole Rumble.

On the other hand, the winner of Becky Lynch vs. Asuka earlier in the night has the chance to walk into the Rumble with the Raw Women’s Championship. Both women, of course, looking to repeat history to become the first ever two time Women’s Rumble winner. Maybe even Rhea Ripley could enter with her NXT Women’s Championship before tossing out everyone.

These are certainly interesting prospects that WWE could easily explore with either of their top women’s champions.
