Is it overkill for WrestleMania to offer two World Championship Title vs. Title winner take all matches in back to back years? Maybe, but hey, it’s not like they will ever give us this match in real life so we might as well have some fun with.
(But if they do give us this match in real life – you heard it here first, folks. Either I’m psychic or WWE is stealing my ideas. Or I’m a mole working for WWE, but don’t tell anyone)
Anyway, story wise, Bray Wyatt vs. Braun Strowman has a lot of layers to it, with Wyatt recruiting Strowman for his Family during his pre-Fiend days before The Monster Among Men strutted out on his own. All things considered, it’s surprising that WWE haven’t gone down this road yet. It’d be very much like Frankenstein being forced to put down the monster he created.
Even in that regard, there is the allure of the first ever one-on-one encounter between these two that makes it worth looking forward to. Put The Fiend’s Universal Championship on the line against Braun Strowman’s Intercontinental Championship and we’ve got ourselves a main event worthy of WrestleMania.
