WWE Elimination Chamber 2020: Will Shayna Baszler reign supreme?
Believe it or not, it has almost been a month since Shayna Baszler’s vicious attack on Becky Lynch. On Raw, Feb. 10, Baszler came to the ring and attacked Lynch biting the back of her neck causing The Man to bleed.
All of this happened before the Raw Women’s Elimination Chamber match was announced, which we now know includes six women; Shayna Baszler, Natalya, Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan and Asuka. These six women will be fighting for the opportunity to face the Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36.
With the prior attack from Shayna, everyone is under the assumption that she is the clear-cut winner of the Elimination Chamber match. This could be easily assumed as well because since the initial attack, Becky has set her sights on the Submission Magician and has been trolling her on social media for weeks.
Is the winner as clear as it seems? Will Shayna easily beat the other five women in the Elimination Chamber? Or are we in for a swerve? Let’s take a brief look at the other five women in the Chamber match.

Natalya, possibly the most reliable woman in the match. Her and Becky had a memorable feud and match last year at Summerslam. If she won the history is there and she would aim to rectify the loss she took from The Man.
Ruby Riott, fresh off her return, while the WWE Universe would love to see her go after the champ, her sights seem set on the real Liv Morgan. Liv and Ruby would be viable contenders for the titles, but they have some bad blood sort out.
Stuck in the middle between her two ex best friends, is Sarah Logan. Sarah has not had the best of luck in the ring as of late and she now finds herself stuck in the middle of a “riott”. If she can focus on the task at hand and stay out of the Riott drama, maybe she can get the win.
Last, but not least, Asuka! The Tag Team Champ is easily the biggest threat in the Chamber match and redemption against Lynch is something Asuka would be ready for at WrestleMania. The two of them had a trilogy of matches where they both shined, but The Man came around and sent Asuka back to the tag division.
However, while the competition is stiff, I believe Shayna will ultimately head to WrestleMania 36 to face Becky Lynch, but not without some shenanigans from the champ herself. Ever since the attack by Baszler, it’s been more than clear Becky wants to get her hands on the 2-time NXT Women’s Champion, but she has also made clear it is not because she needs to, but because she wants to.
I believe that Becky Lynch will involve herself in the Elimination Chamber match, whether it is entering the Chamber after Shayna wins and attacks her, or she sits ringside with a Shayna Baszler shirt on, trolling her throughout the match.
I am looking forward to seeing how the storyline progresses at Elimination Chamber this Sunday. I predict Lynch will stand tall at the end to send a message to Shayna. The Man has come around.
Shayna vs Lynch seems set for the grandest stage of them all, the feud is about to be kicked into next gear after Sunday!
