WWE Hall of Famer and seven-time Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus, is slated to return for one-night only during the holiday season.

Stratus will appear at a house show in her hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, serving as host for the event. The event, dubbed as WWE’s “Holiday Tour”, will take place on December 29, 2021 at the Coca-Cola Coliseum.

She posted on her personal website TrishStratus.com, that she was excited for the return. “Excited to step through that curtain and feel the energy of the WWE Universe one more time. Let’s do this Toronto!”

It has been teased recently that Trish Stratus and “The Boss” Sasha Banks may lock horns in a WWE ring. The pair have been teasing the match on social media, fuelling speculation that a match may be in the works someday in the future. Stratus recently said that she was “open” to the match happening.

The Toronto-natives last appearance for WWE was at the SummerSlam pay-per-view in 2019, where she faced Charlotte Flair. Trish lost the match as “The Queen” made Stratus submit to the Figure-Eight Leglock.

Trish Stratus returns

It has been over two-years since we saw former Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus, in a WWE ring. it makes perfect sense for her to make an appearance in-front of her hometown fans and lap up the warm reception that she will no doubt receive.

One does have to wonder though, if something else will unfold during her appearance. As it stands, the RAW roster is scheduled for the show, meaning any interaction with Sasha Banks will not happen due to her being on SmackDown. It doesn’t stop Trish from issuing some sort of challenge, or even getting involved with another superstar on RAW to set up something down the line, before coming face-to-face with “The Boss”

Either way, we are happy to see some Stratusfaction once again inside a WWE ring. Hopefully, we’ll get a televised appearance not long after.
