WWE Raw and SmackDown General Managers, Adam Pierce and Nick Aldis made a special announcement during the Monday, March 11 edition of Monday Night Raw. They revealed that The Judgment Day would defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against five other teams in a Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder Match. That was massive news as it finally set the stage to push the tag division and Judgment Day stories forward. But who are the five teams that should show up in this match?

The most obvious choices are The Miz and R-Truth. The duo of Awesome Truth may not be the most qualified when it comes to recent accolades, but their inclusion fits exactly where this angle is headed. R-Truth’s involvement with Judgment Day gave the faction a second life when they needed it. Now, it’s only right to see him get some sort of victory over the group to bring the arc, or at least this portion of it, to a close.

DIY is another team that will be a part of this match. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have been just as involved in the angle as The Miz. They’ve attempted to make the save for R-Truth multiple times, just as recently as last night’s episode. They seemingly have low chances to pick up the win, as they’ve recently had a shot at the tag titles; but it would make sense for them to be involved.

The Creeds are another team that has faced off with Judgment Day and come up short. The young duo of Julius and Brutus are the exact type of team that should get a showcase moment in this match. WWE can build the entire tag division around them for the future, and many are predicting that Julius can be split off as a singles star. Allowing them to take part in this match with several big spots to come would go a long way in fans remembering why they latched on to them quickly when they made their main roster debut.

The New Catch Republic are in the same position as the two previously mentioned teams. Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne are a fun new duo that should remain constant contenders in this group. Both are young stars who can be important pieces as singles performers on the roster. They’ve both already had several independent accolades in WWE and pairing them together made perfect sense. Putting them in this match keeps them relevant until there’s time for more either as a duo or singles wrestlers.

The last team should be more of an odd inclusion for this match. That is where Pretty Deadly comes into play. While they are slotted into more of a comedy role, Pretty Deadly are a great duo both in the ring and as characters. It would be interesting to see how they fit into this match, especially if they were to pull off a Hail Mary victory. Elton Prince and Kit Wilson are the exact type of wrestlers that could find themselves with a stronger cult following as many already recognize how good they are at all things professional wrestling and sports entertainment.

The Six Pack Tag Team Ladder Match is a fun addition to what is already building up to be a great WrestleMania card. Putting these five teams in against Judgment Day would be the right call based on where they are on the roster and within the storyline today.
