Is WWE Setting Up a Triple H vs. Seth Rollins Match for WrestleMania 32?

With current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins currently burning all of his bridges with the Authority, Rollins will eventually feud with his mentor Triple H. If so, that feud could lead to a match at WrestleMania.

More from Brock Lesnar

Following cashing in his Money in the Bank contract during the main event of WrestleMania 31, Seth Rollins has been the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Rollins won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with the help of the Authority, and has successfully defended the title against the likes of Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose, all with the help of the Director of Operations, Kane, and J and J security.

Following his match at Money in the Bank versus Ambrose, Rollins claimed that he defended the championship be him and himself only to the point where the Authority had to reinstate the suspended former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar for a match at Battle Ground. Before Rollins’ match at Battle Ground versus Brock Lesnar, Lesnar put J and J Security and Kane out of work, injuring the trio while Rollins coward away from the Beast Incarnate. Rollins only won the match at Battle Ground due to outside interference from the Undertaker.

After defeating John Cena at SummerSlam in a title versus title match, Rollins became the first superstar to hold both the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the United States Championship. The weeks leading up to Night of Champions, former WCW icon Sting got into Rollins head by saying that Rollins is only half the man that Triple H is, in which Rollins rebutted the he is an equal to his mentor.

With the tension brewing between the Kane and Rollins following Night of Champions, it is eventually going to lead to tension between mentor and student, Triple H versus Seth Rollins.

Obviously a feud between Rollins and Triple H would mean the end of the mentor/student relationship, which may also lead to Rollins having to find a finisher aside from Triple H’s Pedigree.

With that being said, the rivalry, or feud could lead to a Pedigree versus Pedigree match at WrestleMania 32, and the winner of the match gets to keep the finisher, and if Rollins wins, it would signify the official passing of the torch from Triple H. But if Rollins loses the match would we see Rollins go back to his original closer, the curb stop?

As far as a rivalry between Triple H and Rollins, we have seen the pieces laid out over the past months after WrestleMania 31, but is next year’s WrestleMania to early to split up Seth Rollins and the Authority?
